Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 5 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 16 ounces challah bread, cubed
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 16 ounces strawberries, sliced
How To Make french toast breakfast casserole

Step 1Whisk together cream cheese, milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, jam, eggs, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add cubed bread; toss.

Step 2Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 2 1/2-quart baking dish.

Step 3Chill at least 8 hours or up to 2 days.

Step 4Remove casserole from refrigerator, and let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 5Bake, covered, 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until center is set and bread is golden brown.
