You can make this just about anyway you like. I sometimes use smokie links cook them and chop them up and put in. I've used diced ham and I've also used bacon. Whichever sounds good to you. I would put peppers in it but my kids are picky so I don't. THere is just a lot of different combinations you can do with this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    frozen shredded hashbrowns
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 12
    eggs
  • 1 small
    onion, diced
  • 1 pkg
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb
    bulk sausage
  • ·
    you can also use diced ham,smokie links or bacon to this if you don't want bulk sausage. whatever you prefer will work as i have made all of them

How to Make Egg Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. fry sausage and drain fat.
  2. using spray oil grease a 9x13 inch pan. Put frozen hashbrowns in.
  3. Mix eggs, put cooked sausage and onion with eggs and stir. Pour over frozen hashbrowns.
  4. Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until eggs and hashbrowns are cooked . Add cheddar cheese over the top in the last 10 minutes of cooking. Serve
