My grandchildren love to help cook & decided they wanted to fix omelets one morning. We set up a little station of fillings & each were given their choices to fill & make their own omelets. It was a success & is now a tradition when visiting Nana.
Place open freezer bags in glasses with sides of bag over glass.
Beat 2 eggs per omelet in bowl & season with salt & pepper as desired. Then pour into freezer bags
Add tablespoon or amount of ingredient desired to the egg mixture. (ex: onions, tomatoes, bacon, cheese, etc)
Seal freezer bag & place in boiling water for 8 minutes. Remove with tongs. Hold with dish towel, open freezer bag & remove to plate. Is ready to eat. Can be topped with extra ingredients, sour cream or hot sauce.
