This easy quiche recipe goes together so quickly and is a delicious breakfast or brunch dish. Use any meat you prefer, it will all taste delicious in this yummy breakfast. Husband approved!

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cups hash brown potatoes
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 cup ham
  • 8 slices bacon, diced
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup colby cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped

How To Make easy breakfast quiche

  • Unbaked hashbrown crust in a pie plate on my counter.
    Step 1
    Mix hash browns with 1 egg and melted butter. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (or any seasonings of your choice). Press the mixture in a greased pie plate. Bake crust in a 425-degree oven for about 20 minutes or until brown and crispy.

    Step 2
    In a large bowl mix 5 eggs and a cup of heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Ham = and bacon mixture in a pan on my stove.
    Step 3
    In a pan sauté ham, bacon, onions, and bell pepper with 2 tablespoons of butter for about 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
    When your crust is brown, remove from oven and add your meat and veggie mixture, top with your egg mixture and sprinkle your cheese on top.

    Step 5
    Reduce oven temp to 325 degrees and bake for about 25-30 minutes until nice and brown. Top finished dish with chopped green onions.
