easy-baked salsa & cheese dish

When I have a good supply of fresh eggs delivered, from my grandchildren who have chickens, I like to make a pound cake, or another quick lunch or supper casserole. I use whatever sliced cheese and good quality bread is in the house.It's hearty and spicy!

Ingredients

  • 3 slices favorite cheese, i used provolone
  • 4 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 slices multi grain bread
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh salsa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesean cheese

How To Make easy-baked salsa & cheese dish

  • Step 1
    Grease a small baking casserole,place large slices of bread in single layer, pour egg beaten with milk over bread, layer fresh salsa, layer sliced cheese and sprinkle grated cheese over all.
  • Step 2
    Bake in 350 degree oven until golden brown and about 30 minutes.
