When I have a good supply of fresh eggs delivered, from my grandchildren who have chickens, I like to make a pound cake, or another quick lunch or supper casserole. I use whatever sliced cheese and good quality bread is in the house.It's hearty and spicy!

Ingredients

  • 3 slice
    favorite cheese, i used provolone
  • 4
    eggs, beaten
  • 2 slice
    multi grain bread
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    fresh salsa
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesean cheese

How to Make Easy-Baked Salsa & Cheese Dish

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease a small baking casserole,place large slices of bread in single layer, pour egg beaten with milk over bread, layer fresh salsa, layer sliced cheese and sprinkle grated cheese over all.
  2. Bake in 350 degree oven until golden brown and about 30 minutes.
