Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    bulk pork sausage
  • 6 medium
    eggs
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground mustard
  • 6 slice
    white bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 c
    (4 ozs) shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Diego's Sausage Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. In a skillet, brown and crumble sausage, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs, add milk, salt and mustard.
  3. Stir in bread cubes, cheese and sausage.
  4. Pour into a greased 11x7-inch baking dish.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  6. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  7. Bake uncovered at 350 for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
