I got this idea from a very good elder friend of mine. It takes a little time but, it is so delicious!

eggs
8 slice
white bread (trimmed)
1/4 c
milk
6 slice
bacon, cooked
1 c
sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
1/4 c
yellow onions (diced)
1/2 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
black pepper
1/4 c
butter, melted

How to Make Delicious Breakfast Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1In an 11X13 casserole dish, place trimmed bread in buttered dish.(Melt 1/4 c. of butter in microwave)
  • 2Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper together and pour over bread evenly.
  • 3Sprinkle onions & cooked bacon (crumbled)on top.
  • 4Cover with saran wrap and place in the fridge overnight.
  • 5Next morning uncover and place in pre-heated oven for 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees making sure eggs are completely cooked.
  • 6Remove from oven and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top while hot and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 7You can substitute bacon for crumbled sausage. You can also add beel pepper to this. Use your imagination! Eat and Enjoy!
