Ingredients

  • 8 - croissants, torn into thirds
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 2/3 cup dried fruit (cranberries, cherries, blueberries, etc)
  • 1/3 cup apple juice
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 4 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • dash salt

How To Make croissant pudding

  • Step 1
    Soak dried fruit in the apple juice; set aside. Spray inside of crock pot.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl combine milk, cream, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt.
  • Step 3
    Place 1/3 of croissants pieces in the crock pot and sprinkle with 1/3 of soaked fruit. Pour 1/3 of egg mixture on top. Repeat layers twice again. Pour remaining liquid from the fruit over the top of the layers. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  • Step 4
    Cook on low 8 hours. When ready to serve, top with syrup.
