I have had this recipe since 1988. Oldie but goodie.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    jimmy dean sausage any flavor
  • 9
    inch pie shell
  • 1 1/2 c
    grated swiss chees
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green bell peppers
  • 1/4 c
    chopped red bell peppers
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion
  • 4
    eggs lightly beaten
  • 1
    cup light cream

How to Make Country Breakfast Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook sausage until done. Crumble, then drain.
    Prepare 9" pie shell.
    Mix cheese and cooked sausage. sprinkle in pie shell.
  2. Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl.
    Combine remaining ingredients and add to egg mixture.
    Pour in shell.
    Bake at 375Degrees for 40-45 minutes.
    Cool on rack 10 minutes.
