Another great breakfast or brunch idea. I make this dish many different ways, but this is how I decided to make it this morning. My son loves cottage cheese, so decided to add it. He loved it. Its great warmed up as well.

How to Make ~ Cottage Sausage & Egg Bake ~

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.

Grease a 9 inch pie plate.

In a medium bowl, beat eggs, whisk in the flour, seasonings, milk and baking powder.

Stir in 2 cups of cheese, onion, cottage cheese and sausage. Combine well.
  2. Pour into prepared dish. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. You can serve now or sprinkle with additional cheese and place back into oven and bake until melted.
  3. I leave the dish set for 5 - 10 minutes, before cutting.

Enjoy with some fresh fruit or as i served, with halved cherry tomatoes. Quite satisfying.
