Ingredients
- 4 1/4 cups water
- 1 cup yellow grits
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 16 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 stick butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
How To Make cheese grits casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2Put the water in a pot and bring to a boil.

Step 3Stir in the grits and cook until thick, about 5 minutes. Stir frequently.

Step 4Add garlic powder, salt, cheese and butter. Mix well.

Step 5Put eggs and milk in a small bowl and beat together. Add slowly to the grits.

Step 6Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle bacon on top.
