Grandma W and Mom both made Strata recipes. I wonder which one came first? Sort of like the chicken or the egg...LOL

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound pork sausage
- 3/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1/2 pound velveeta, cubed
- 4 cups bread cubes
- 1 cup milk
- 4 - eggs, beaten
How To Make cheese and sausage strata, grandma w's

Step 1Brown and drain sausage. Add vegetables and cook 5 min. Drain and set aside to cool 10 min. Stir together sausage mixture, cheese, and bread cubes and put into an 8" square baking dish. Beat milk and eggs and pour over mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 2Oven to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered 50-55 min or until golden brown. Let stand 10 min.
