Ingredients
- 8 slices new york brand® texas garlic toast, or any texas garlic toast
- 3 cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/4 cups diced ham
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce, i use tobasco
- 1/4 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped thyme leaves, i used dried thyme
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 8 - large eggs
How To Make brunch strata

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Arrange Garlic Toast slices on a sheet pan and bake 7 to 10 minutes or until bread begins to brown. Cool and cut into 2 “ pieces.

Step 2Butter an 8 x 11 baking dish. Place bread pieces in prepared baking dish. Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over bread pieces. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 24 hours.

Step 3Remove strata from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cover strata with aluminum foil and bake 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake 20 minutes or until center of strata is firm to touch. Top of strata should be golden brown. Allow strata to rest for 5 minutes. Serve.
