Ingredients
- 1 pound bob evans zesty hot sausage
- 5 slices bread, cut or torn into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 - green pepper, diced
- 1 - red pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 can large sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 - eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- - salt to taste
How To Make breakfast squares

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crumble and cook sausage in medium skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any drippings.

Step 2Spread bread cubes in greased 9 x 13 baking dish; mix sausage, peppers, mushrooms, onion, and spread on top of bread cubes. Layer cheese over all. Whisk eggs, milk, salt and mustard until well blended; pour over cheese evenly.

Step 3Bake 30-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares; serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers.
