Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups seasoned croutons
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 6 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 4 ounces can mushrooms
  • 2 cups shredded cheese

How To Make breakfast sausage casserole

  • Step 1
    Spread croutons in a lightly greased 9x13 pan. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Brown sausage, drain.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle sausage over croutons.
  • Step 4
    Combine eggs and next 4 ingredients.
  • Step 5
    Mix well, pour over sausage.
  • Step 6
    Cover and refrigerate over night.
  • Step 7
    Remove from refrigerator. Let stand 30 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Bake uncovered at 350 for 50 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Sprinkle cheese and melt.
