I made this recipe up, looking for something to cook for breakfast.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
A slice of this breakfast pie is wonderful for breakfast. But hearty, a slice could be served as a dinner too. It's packed with bacon, sausage, Spam, bell peppers, diced onion, shredded cheese, and eggs inside a flaky, golden brown pie crust. Delish!

Ingredients
- 2 - Pillsbury pie crust
- 1 pound bacon
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 can Spam, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk, plus more for brushing crust
- - salt and pepper
- 6 - links pre-cooked sausage, cut up
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Test Kitchen Tips
The height of the pie will be determined based on the size of your pie pan.

Step 1Cook bacon until crisp. Then crumble. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Use part of the bacon drippings saute onion, bell pepper, and Spam.

Step 3Beat eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

Step 4Lay the bottom crust in the pie pan. Then add crumbled bacon first.

Step 5Then layer some onion mixture on top of the bacon. Add some cheese. Then, part of the egg mixture. Next, add the sausage. Then repeat until all is in the pan.

Step 6Use the second pie crust to lay on top. Cut slits in the top. Brush with milk so it doesn't get too dark.

Step 7Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Step 8Let it settle for a few minutes before cutting.
