  • 8 - eggs (divided)
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (we like jimmy dean-sage) (divided)
  • 1 - green bell pepper chopped (divided)
  • 1 - onion chopped (divided)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cavenders seasoning
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 package pet ritz deep dish pie crusts

How To Make breakfast pie

  • Step 1
    THIS IS A GREAT DISH FOR BREAKFAST OR ANY MEAL. IT IS SIMPLE TO DO AND THE BEST PART IS IT MAKES 2 BREAKFAST PIES SO THERE IS PLENTY TO SHARE! PREHEAT OVEN TO 35O. REMOVE THE PIE CRUST FROM PACKAGE..START BROWNING THE SAUSAGE--WHEN SAUSAGE IS COOKED--DRAIN THE GREASE AND SPRINKLE THE MEAT ON THE BOTTOM OF BOTH PIE CRUSTS--DIVIDE THE SAUSAGE SO EACH PIE GETS 1/2 OF THE MEAT. THEN ADD ONION AND GREEN PEPPER ON TOP OF SAUSAGE. NEXT WHIP 4 EGGS AND 3/4 CUP MILK ADD SEASONING TO TASTE AND POUR OVER MEAT AND VEGETABLES AND THEN REPEAT WITH SAME INGREDIENTS FOR THE OTHER PIE. THEN SPRINKLE THE TOP OF THE PIE WITH 1/2 CUP GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE.

    PUT PIE ON COOKIE SHEET FOR EASE IN HANDLING AND COOK FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE CHEESE IS LIGHTLY BROWNED AND PIE IS COOKED. LET COOL AND ENJOY!! THIS IS ALSO GREAT SERVED WITH SALSA AND SALAD.
