Ingredients
- 1 package country mild pork sausage
- 10 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 cups cubed bread (i use french bread)
- 2 cups shredded cheese of choice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup thin-sliced green onions
- 2 tablespoons bell pepper of choice, finely chopped
- - garlic & onion powder to taste
- - dash of chili powder
How To Make breakfast/lunch/supper casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees and butter 13x9 baking pan or spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2Cook sausage over medium-high heat until no longer pink, drain.

Step 3In large mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, mustard, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic and onion powder; stir well.

Step 4Layer in pan in the following order: half the bread, half the cheese, half the sausage and half the onions and bell pepper. Repeat layer using the remaining bread, cheese, sausage, onion and bell pepper.

Step 5Pour egg mixture evenly over casserole and bake uncovered for 60 minutes or until eggs are set. If top begings to brown too quickly, tent with foil.

Step 6Individual servings can be topped with salsa, white gravy or extra cheese.
