This is a recipe that we all tried at a food class I attended when I had my home day care. My family and the kids all loved it. You can make the french toast the way you usually make it. I myself just use eggs and sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture. (no milk)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 12 slices french toast
  • 8 ounces boiled ham, sliced
  • 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 20 ounces apple pie filling
  • 1 cup granola

How To Make breakfast lasagne

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, blend sour cream and brown sugar. Chill.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 350F. Meanwhile, make french toast and place 6 slices in bottom of greased 9x13" baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Layer ham and 2 cups of cheddar cheese and remaining 6 slices of french toast.
  • Step 4
    Spread apple pie filling over top, sprinkle with the granola.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 25 minutes. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Continue baking about 5-8 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Serve with sour cream mixture.
