Hit the snooze button and sleep in late with the help of an appetizing make-ahead breakfast pie. Combining leftovers and other on-hand ingredients the night before gives you the chance to sleep in and still offer the family or guests a warm, hearty breakfast.

8 slice
bacon, cooked and crumbled, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings
1/2 c
corn flake crumbs
2 1/2 c
hashbrown potatoes
1 1/2 c
shredded swiss cheese
1/2 c
cottage cheese
1/3 c
green onion, chopped
1 tsp
drops hot pepper sauce

How to Make Breakfast Corn Flake Pie


  • 1Mix corn flake crumbs with drippings. Set aside.
  • 2In medium-size bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 9-inch pan. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and crumb mixture over eggs. Cover.

    Refrigerate overnight.
  • 3Remove pan from refrigerator.

    Uncover and bake at 350 F. about 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
