Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 slices white bread, in 1" cubes
- 1 pound sausage, browned
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
How To Make breakfast casserole (pennsylvania dutch)

Step 1Beat eggs, add milk, salt and mustard, mixing well.

Step 2Grease bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish.

Step 3Place in layer of bread cubes, the sausage, then cheese.

Step 4Pour egg mixture over the top.

Step 5Refrigerate overnight.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Step 7Let stand about 5 minutes before cutting.

Step 8NOTE: For 8 people use 3 slices of bread and 8 eggs.
