Brandi came home from her boyfriends house one day said his mom cooked this and she loved it. So Mrs. Linda gave her the recipe and Brandi made it for us . Wow this was a big hit for my grandboys there was none left after we all ate some. ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread cubed (perferably whole grain
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar (sharp med.)
  • 2 pounds sausage, cooked ,drained, and crumble
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

How To Make breakfast casserole

  • Step 1
    Layer the bread on bottom, then layer of sausage, then cheese in a 9 X 13 dish.
  • Step 2
    Then mix eggs,1 1/2 cups of milk, dry mustard (I use a little more mustard) Mix Well
  • Step 3
    Pour over sausage mixture in 9 X 13
  • Step 4
    I refrigerate 12-24 hours- easy to make a head and you can make this and freeze it.
  • Step 5
    When ready to cook (Oven 300) mix cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup milk
  • Step 6
    Frost the top of the casserole, put in oven and cook for 1 1/2 hours. ENJOY!
