A good friend suggested this recipe for my family's annual cookie baking day at Christmas. It was amazingly easy and came out light and fluffy with lots of flavor. This is definitely a keeper and is easily modified for smaller groups.

Ingredients
- 12 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 pound bacon, cooked
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sharp cheddar, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 small can green chilis
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
How To Make breakfast casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Mix eggs, cream, 1/2 of the cheddar cheese, salt, peppers, and chilis in a 9 x 13 casserole dish.

Step 3Cube the cream cheese into small cubes and drop into egg mixture.

Step 4Bake for 35 minutes. Top with crumbled bacon and remaining cheese. Bake for another 15 minutes.
