This casserole is just easy and delicious. It really makes Christmas morning hassle free, because you prepare it the night before and on Christmas morning, you just pop it in the oven...no hassle! Needless to say, its my go-to recipe for a breakfast crowd or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    pork sausage - browned and drained
  • 6
    eggs - beaten
  • 2 c
    milk (i like to use 1/2 & 1/2)
  • 6 slice
    bread - torn into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Breakfast Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients and pour into a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
