Nonna Rosa's Breakfast Casserole

Carla Hurst-Chandler

I like to put the ingredients together the night before and bake it in the morning while I am taking my walk.

When I get home...breakfast is done and the house smells magnificent!

How to Make Nonna Rosa's Breakfast Casserole

  1. Butter a 8x8 baking dish.

    Do not preheat oven
  2. Line bottom of baking dish with torn sourdough bread.

Mix all other ingredients in bowl and pour over torn sour dough bread.

(...this can now be covered and kept in the refrigerator overnight if desired...)
  3. Salt and Pepper top just before baking. (I like to use large cracked black pepper).
