Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground turkey sausage
- 4 tablespoons chopped green onion
- 6 cups french bread, cubed
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 2/3 cups skim milk
- 1/4 cup frozen egg subsitute, thawed or 5 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Step 1This recipe can be prepared the night before in the removable crock-pot, refrigerated and then turned on in the morning for an excellent tasty brunch.

Step 2In a skillet brown turkey sausage and green onions in vegetable oil.

Step 3Drain meat.

Step 4Coat crock-pot with cooking spray and place bread cubes in bottom.

Step 5Layer sausage mixture and cheese over bread.

Step 6Combine milk, egg substitute, prepared mustard and pepper.

Step 7Pour over sausage and cheese.

Step 8Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
