Ingredients

  • 8 slice
    bread - buttered, trim & cube
  • 1 lb
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb
    cooked sausage, ham, or bacon
  • 8
    eggs
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    milk
  • 6
    green onions, chopped fine
  • 3/4 tsp
    dry mustard
  • dash(es)
    red pepper

How to Make Breakfast Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Place bread in a 9 x 13 baking dish, sprinkle with cheese. Add meat.
  2. Beat eggs and milk, add spices and pour on top of meat.
  3. Cover and Refrigerate over night.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place dish in over and back 55 minutes. Remove cover last 5 minutes of baking time.
