i made this the first time in my college days still make it today

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1/2 pound frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 small red bell pepper
  • 1/2 small yellow onion
  • 4 ounces fresh mushrooms.. sliced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped celery leaves
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese... divided
  • - salt and paper... to taste
  • 1-2 dash this is the secert item]... liquid smoke

How To Make breakfast casarole

  • Step 1
    in lg fry pan cook sausage til no longer pink,drain well, add onion,bell pepper cook til onion limp,add celery leaves and mushrooms cook and stir 5-8 min than add hash brownies stir well
  • Step 2
    meanwhile break eggs into med size bowl with wire wisk whip eggs til frothy add milk,cheese, salt and pepper..set aside
  • Step 3
    spray a 9x13 ovenware pan with non stick spray..add sausage to pan... just before adding to meat add a couple dashes liquid smoke in eggs whisk well to blend......pour over meat
  • Step 4
    bake in 350 preheated oven til set...35-45 min
