- 6 slices whole wheat bread,cut into 1" pieces
- 1 cup fresh blueberries (not frozen)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4 large egg whites
- 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make blueberry-orange french toast casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Coat 8" square baking dish with cooking spray. Combine bread and blueberries in prepared baking dish.

Step 2Whisk milk and sugar in medium bowl until sugar is dissolved. Whisk in eggs , egg whites, orange peel,and vanilla. Pour over bread mixture;toss to coat. Let stand 5 minutes.

Step 3Bake 40-45 minutes or until top of bread is browned and center is almost set. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
