Ingredients
- 12 slices bread cut into one inch cubes
- 16 ounces cream cheese cut into small cubes
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 12 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- BLUEBERRY SAUCE
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon butter
How To Make blueberry french toast casserole

Step 1Grease 9x13 baking dish. Arrange half of bread in dish. Top with cream cheese. Sprinkle with blueberries, and top with remaining bread.

Step 2Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and syrup. Pour over casserole and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to baking.

Step 3Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and continue baking 25-30 minutes until center is firm and browned. Serve with blueberry sauce.

Step 4BLUEBERRY SAUCE Mix sugar, cornstarch and water. Brin to boil. Stir constantly 3-4 minutes. Mix in blueberries. Reduce heat and simmer10 minutes until blueberries burst. Stir in butter.
