Ingredients

12 slicebread cut into one inch cubes

16 ozcream cheese cut into small cubes

2 cmilk
-
1/2 cmaple syrup

12eggs, beaten

1 cblueberries, fresh or frozen

1 tspvanilla

BLUEBERRY SAUCE
-
1 csugar
-
1 cwater
-
1 cblueberries, fresh or frozen

2 Tbspcornstarch
-
1 Tbspbutter
How to Make Blueberry French Toast Casserole
- Grease 9x13 baking dish. Arrange half of bread in dish. Top with cream cheese. Sprinkle with blueberries, and top with remaining bread.
- Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and syrup. Pour over casserole and refrigerate overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to baking. - Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and continue baking 25-30 minutes until center is firm and browned. Serve with blueberry sauce.
- BLUEBERRY SAUCE
Mix sugar, cornstarch and water. Brin to boil. Stir constantly 3-4 minutes. Mix in blueberries. Reduce heat and simmer10 minutes until blueberries burst. Stir in butter.
