berry breakfast bake
This recipe came with an advertisement to get my air conditioner tuned up for summer! I adjusted it a bit for clarification and choice of ingredients. You could use chopped peaches or a different kind of fruit preserves, even though it wouldn't be 4 berries!! You get the idea!

- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon

How To Make berry breakfast bake
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spread jam on slices of the bread and cut into cubes. Cover bottom of 9x13 baking dish with bread.
-
Step 2Whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar and pour over bread.
-
Step 3Add all of the fruit to the top. You will have to push them down a bit so they don't completely float! Let sit for 15 - 30 minutes. Or, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
-
Step 4Bake for 35-50 minutes (depending on if you had it in the fridge). Dust with sugar of choice before serving. Squirt on some whipped cream, if desired.
