- 8 large eggs
- 3 3/4 cups milk, whole
- 11/2 cups whipping cream
- 41/2 teaspoons pure vanilla

Step 1PLACE 6 SLICES OF BREAD ON THE BOTTOM OF A GREASED 9X13 BAKING DISH. BUTTER REMAINING BREAD, PLACE BUTTERED BREAD SIDE ATOP BREAD ALREADY IN PAN.

Step 2IN A MIXING BOWL, BEAT EGGS, THEN ADD MILK,CREAM,SUGAR,AND VANILLA. MIX WELL. POUR OVER BREAD AND LET STAND FROM 15MINUTES TO OVERNIGHT.

Step 3PLACE A DISH IN A LARGE BAKING PAN CONTAINING 1/2 TO I INCH OF BOILING WATER. BAKE UNCOVERED AT 375 DEGREES FOR 40 MINUTES, OR UNTIL A KNIFE INSERTED INTO CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. LET STAND 10 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
