Nothing new, but so easy to throw together for those of us with a deep love of bagels

Ingredients

  • 1 - egg per bagel half
  • 1 slice your favorite cheese
  • 1 - bagel sliced in half
  • 1 tablespoon butter or good quality margarine
  • - fresh ground pepper, sea salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon canola oil for use in bowl under bagel

How To Make bagel breakfast

  • Step 1
    slice bagel and butter, place in microwave safe bowl with canola oil smeared inside.
  • Step 2
    chunk up cheese slice and arrange on buttered bagel.
  • Step 3
    crack one large egg over bagel and cheese, break yolk. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
    Microwave approximately 1 minute on high, let rest for one minute and serve in same bowl.
