  • 6 slice
  • 1/4 c
    soft butter
  • 2 1/2 c
    grated cheddar or american cheese
  • 3
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    dry mustard

How to Make B&B Breakfast Casserole


  1. Spread bread with butter, quarter each slice.
  2. Cover bottom of greased casserole with bread slices. Layer cheese then bread in layers until all is used.
  3. Pour mixture of milk, eggs and seasonings over bread and cheese.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes. May be made ahead and refrigerated before cooking. Crumbled, cooked bacon could be added over top before baking.
