Apple Puff Pancake
4 Tbspbutter, unsalted
1/2 tspvanilla extract
1 call-purpose flour
4 Tbspbrown sugar
1/2 tspcinnamon, ground
4 mediumapples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 cwalnuts, chopped
How to Make Apple Puff Pancake
- Heat oven to 400 degrees. Melt the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish in the oven as it's preheating; swirl butter around to coat dish completely.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and flour. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the melted butter.
- Combine apples, raisins and walnuts. Lay the apple slices down over the butter. Pour the flour mixture over the apple slices and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve with maple syrup if desired.
