This is what my children called these scrambled eggs that had everything "all together". It is simple and easy to modify. My 5 children are grown and gone, now, but when they come back for a visit, my youngest daughter always wants "That breakfast that has everything all together" Preparation and cooking times are approximate.

prep time 15 Min
cook time 15 Min
method ---
yield 3-6 (depending on appetites)

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil - i use olive oil or canola oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped, cooked meat of choice such as ham, bacon, venison, beef, etc.
  • 3-4 - eggs or eggbeater equivalent
  • 2 tablespoons milk (i use skim)
  • pinch salt, pepper, thyme to taste
  • 1 cup vegetables of choice: onion, green or red sweet pepper, potatoes, carrots, broccoli, beans
  • 1 - tomato, sliced, or about 8 cherry tomatoes

How To Make all together breakfast

  • Step 1
Cook or heat meat in oil in skillet, add vegetables and fry until only slightly tender.
  • Step 2
Beat eggs with milk in small bowl, add salt, pepper and thyme. Add whatever seasonings you enjoy.
  • Step 3
Remove vegetable/meat mixture from skillet, add egg mixture to skillet and cook as scrambled eggs, continually stirring until nearly set.
  • Step 4
When eggs are almost done, stir in the vegetable/meat mixture back into the eggs, cooking until eggs are set.
  • Step 5
Garnish with tomato slices, or halved cherry tomatoes, and serve warm with toast or biscuits.
  • Step 6
I think what my children liked best about this breakfast, is that it was always a surprise - I never made it the same way twice!
