I found this recipe at recipelion.com/...Quiche-Lorraine-3, but because it had an identical title to another Quiche Lorraine recipe I had previously posted, it wouldn't let me pinch it with the browser app, so I have transcribed it here.

    9" pie shell
  • 8
    slices bacon, diced
  • 1/2 c
    scallions with tops, chopped
  • 6
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp
    onion salt
  • 1 c
    swiss cheese, grated
  • 2 c
    half and half
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg

How to Make Quiche Lorraine


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Brown bacon lightly. Drain excess grease and add scallions. Cook until golden brown, cool slightly.
  3. Combine eggs, onion salt, cheese, and bacon mixture; add cream and blend well.
  4. Pour into pie shell, sprinkle with nutmeg, and bake at 375 for 30 - 35 minutes.
