Ingredients
- 1 - 9" pie shell
- 8 - slices bacon, diced
- 1/2 cup scallions with tops, chopped
- 6 - eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
- 2 cups half and half
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
How To Make quiche lorraine

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2Brown bacon lightly. Drain excess grease and add scallions. Cook until golden brown, cool slightly.

Step 3Combine eggs, onion salt, cheese, and bacon mixture; add cream and blend well.

Step 4Pour into pie shell, sprinkle with nutmeg, and bake at 375 for 30 - 35 minutes.
