old fashioned oatmeal
1 c
canned solid pumpkin -like libby's
3/4 c
light brown sugar,packed
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
each ground cinnamon, and salt
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp
ground cloves
2 large
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
milk
1/2 c
melted unsalted butter

TOPPING:

1/2 c
chopped pecans
3 Tbsp
soft butter
1/2 c
light brown sugar,packed

How to Make Pumpkin Praline Baked Oatmeal

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350^. In a large bowl, stir the oats, pumpkin, brown sugar, baking powder, slat cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Mix well. Set aside.
  • 2In another bowl, whisk together the vanilla, eggs, milk and melted butter. Stir into the dry ingredients until well blended.
    In a small bowl combine the topping ingredients. Set aside.
  • 3Pour the pumpkin batter into a 9-inch casserole dish coated with non stick butter spray and sprinkle the pecan mixture over top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until just set. Serve right away. Great with cream or whipped cream too.
