easy ham and cheese quiche
This recipe given to me by my sister who is a great cook. Another family favorite. I was surprised how fast and easy I was able to put this together. Great use for leftover ham.

Ingredients
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
- small amount of mustard, only enough to coat pie shell bottom
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil or 1tsp dried
- 3 - eggs
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- dash pepper
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
How To Make easy ham and cheese quiche

Step 1Prebake pie shell at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Helps to prick the bottom of shell before baking. When cool, "paint" the bottom of the shell with the mustard.

Step 2Mix together: diced ham, mozzarella cheese and basil.

Step 3Sprinkle mixture on the bottom of the pie shell.

Step 4Beat together the eggs, whipping cream, pepper and the Parmesan cheese.

Step 5Pour over the ham and cheese mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
