This recipe given to me by my sister who is a great cook. Another family favorite.
I was surprised how fast and easy I was able to put this together. Great use for leftover ham.

How to Make Easy Ham and Cheese Quiche

Step-by-Step

  1. Prebake pie shell at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Helps to prick the bottom of shell before baking. When cool, "paint" the bottom of the shell with the mustard.
  2. Mix together: diced ham, mozzarella cheese and basil.
  3. Sprinkle mixture on the bottom of the pie shell.
  4. Beat together the eggs, whipping cream, pepper and the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Pour over the ham and cheese mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
