I am always asked to bring this whenever we have a brunch at work. There is never any left over. Can be made ahead and baked when ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 medium eggs
  • 10 slices 1 inch thick french bread cut into cubes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

How To Make blueberry french toast bake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 400 degrees. Generously grease a 9x13 pan.
  • Step 2
    Beat flour, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt, and eggs in a large bowl. Stir in the bread cubes until well coated.Pour the bread mixture into prepared pan.
  • Step 3
    Top evenly with blueberries, cream cheese, and nuts. Bake uncover for 20 to 25 min. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. Serve with syrup.
