another great brunch casserole
I just love this type of breakfast / brunch casserole...they are great for taking to Church...hearty and flavorful, what's not to love?...I love having the leftovers to pop in the microwave as well...enjoy! My photos.

Ingredients
- 24 ounces bulk pork sausage - i used bob evans
- 1/2 - 3/4 cups onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup each, red and green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cups frozen hash browns
- 1 cup biscuit mix
- 4 - eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes - optional
How To Make another great brunch casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degree F. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Step 2In a large skillet, brown sausage, peppers and onions, until sausage is no longer pink. Drain

Step 3In a medium sized bowl; mix sausage mixture, 1 1/2 cup cheddar and hash browns.

Step 4Pour this mixture into prepared baking dish. Spread out evenly. In same bowl, add Bisquick, milk, eggs, salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes. Whisk until blended.

Step 5Pour evenly over sausage mixture.

Step 6Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 7Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top and place back in oven until cheese is melted.

Step 8Cool for roughly 5 minutes before cutting. Enjoy this yummy casserole.
