was submitted by Ruth Burrus.

Ingredients
-
1/2 cbuttered flavored shortening

1 csugar
-
3eggs
-
1/2 cbuttermilk

3 Tbsporange juice

1 tspvanilla extract

1/2 cvanilla or white chips,melted and cooled

2-1/4 call purpose flour
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspbaking soda
-
1 cdried cranberries
How to Make White Chocolate Cranberry Bread
- In a large mixing bowl,cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs,one at a time,beating well after each
addition.Beat in the buttermilk,orange juice,lemon
peel and vanilla.Stir in melted chips. Combine the
flour,salt and baking soda;gradually add creamed mixture.Stir in cranberries. - Pour
into a greased and floured 9in.x 5in.x 3in. loaf pan.Bake at 350F.for 55-60 minutes or until a
toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean
Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to
a wire rack to completely cool.
