How to Make Texas Scones
- Mix the dry ingredients together
- Cut in the butter
- Make a well and slowly add the buttermilk. Mix gently with a fork until the dough comes together. You may need a little more or less buttermilk.
- Pat dough out onto a floured surface. Shape into a circle about 6 inches across. Cut into wedges. Space wedges onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake @ 425 for 10-15 minutes, till firm and lightly browned.
