My mother cut this out of a newspapere in Hawaii. There were a lot of tea rooms and this is probably an old recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups carrot, grated
- 3 - eggs
How To Make tea room carrot bread

Step 1Sift flour, soda, cinnamon, and salt. Make a well in the mixing bowl with the ingredients.

Step 2Add nuts, oil,vanilla, sugar, and carrots. Mix well.

Step 3Pour into a greased loaf pan. Let stand 30 minutes before baking.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Step 5Optional ingredients: 1 C raisins or 1/2 c coconut and 1/2 c raisins Add with the nuts, oil, vanilla, sugar, and carrots.
