- 1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 2/3 cup warm milk
- 4 cups bread flour
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- 2/3 cup soft butter
- TOPPING
- 1 large egg white
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
How To Make sweet french bread with orange blossom water

Step 1The night before, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.

Step 2In a stand mixer with a hook, add the eggs, sugar, salt, orange blossom water, and the yeast mixture.

Step 3Slowly incorporate the flour and softened butter little by little. Let the mixer knead the dough for about 30 minutes.

Step 4Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit at room temp overnight.

Step 5The next morning, place the dough on a buttered baking sheet and shape it into an oval.

Step 6Bake at 250 degrees for about an hour.

Step 7Mix the egg white and orange blossom water. Brush over the bread after you remove it from the oven.
