I don't remember where or from whom I got this recipe. I believe it was my Grandmother. She was from Alabama and one of the best cooks and bakers I have ever known. This is a comfy food. I have never had complaints about it. I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup corn oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
- STREUSIL
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons butter (slighted softened)

Step 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. GREASE AND FLOUR BOTTOM ONLY OF A 9X5 INCH LOAF PAN. YOU CAN ALSO USE A BUNT PAN BUT GREASE AND FLOUR ENTIRE PAN

Step 2LIGHTLY SPOON FLOUR INTO A MEASURING CUP, LEVEL OFF. IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE ALL BREAD INGREDIENTS, BEAT 3 MINUTES AT MEDIUM SPEED. POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED PAN.

Step 3IN SMALL BOWL COMBINE ALL STEUSIL INGREDIENTS UNTIL CRUMBLY; SPRINKLE OVER BATTER AND SWIRL LIGHTLY TO MARBLE.

Step 4BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 45 TO 55 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOOTH PICK INSERTED IN THE MIDDLE COMES OUT CLEAN. REMOVE LOAF FROM PAN IMMEDIATLEY. COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE SLICING.

Step 5NOTE TO BAKERS. TO SUBSTITUTE THE BUTTERMILK USE 1 TABLESPOON OF VINEGAR OR LEMON JUICE TO 1 CUP MILK. I DON'T NORMALLY BUY BUTTERMILK AND THIS WAS A HUGE HELP.
