Yummy bread, and a favorite for holiday gift giving and sharing!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove, ground
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 jars plum baby food
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

How To Make sugar-plum bread

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves in large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
    Add beaten eggs and oil, stirring until well blended.
  • Step 3
    Add baby food and nuts.
  • Step 4
    Pour into two greased loaf pans. (I spray mine with cooking spray.)
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle a Tbs. of sugar over each loaf about 15 minutes before done.
