Ingredients

  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 10 ounces frozen sliced strawberries or raspberries in syrup
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup oil

How To Make strawberry-pecan bread

  • Step 1
    Beat eggs, sugar and oil until well combined.
  • Step 2
    Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
  • Step 3
    Beat until well blended (batter should be thick).
  • Step 4
    Stir in the partially thawed, undrained berries and the nuts.
  • Step 5
    Pour batter into a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for 55-65 minutes, or until tester comes out clean.
  • Step 7
    Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Romove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Step 9
    Wrap and store in refrigator.
