Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (or your choice)
How To Make strawberry bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan.

Step 2In a large bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the oil, sugar, vanilla and almond extracts. Mix well.

Step 3In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and stir until just barely moistened. Add the strawberries and nuts and mix lightly. Do not overmix.

Step 4Pour into the prepared pan and bake until nicely browned. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean. This will take 50 minutes to 1 hour. If browned but not done, cover with foil.

Step 5Store in a sealed container or ziploc. Freezes well.
