1 pkg(20 oz) frozen strawberries, thawed and mashed
1 cvegetable oil
3 cself rising flour, divided
1 cchopped pecans
How to Make Strawberry Bread
- preheat oven to 350. coat two 9x5 loaf pans with cooking spray.
- in a large bowl, with an electric beater on low speed, beat strawberries, sugar, oil and eggs until well mixed. add 21/2 cups flour and continue beaten until well combined.
- in a small bowl, toss pecans with remaining 1/2 cup flour then stir into strawberry mixture. pour into prepared loaf pan.
- bake 55-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. cool slightly then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
